AC/Heating Pump Installation

Installation policies for AC/Heating units being added to all South Cove homes must compile with the standard Issquah City Ordinance and South Cove HOA CC&R street set back requirements:
  • A 6 foot set back from the property line and not visible from the street
  • A max steady noise allowance at the property boundary line must be below 55dBA during the daytime
  • A max steady noise allowance at the property boundary line must be below 45dBA between 10pm and 7am
To ensure that these requirements are meet, the HOA requires that all AC/Heating units be approved by the ARC as well as discussed with any neighbor who may be affected by the unit's placement. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to ensure that these requirements are meet before seeking ARC approval.

Out of courtesy to your volunteer HOA Board and ARC, all requests require a minimum of 48 hours for approval prior to installation.
