These 2000 photos are by David Bangs
On the Fourth of July  we celebrate with a fun run, parade, clowns and games, a moonwalk ride, tennis and soccer.

The 2k race had some heavy hitters from the high school track team. The first three finishers - Brian Stromberg (9:15), Sam Messe (10:29) and Evan Marques (10:54) - are not pictured. Two families went all out, with on-wagon fireworks displays. Brad Wallum and his family are pictured (left).


The clowns and their toys provided hours of entertainment.


Soccer and Tennis


Brian Englund, Russell Tom, Chris Dederer and Mike Quaranta man the hot dogs.  The Haven family enjoys touring the neighborhood.

Summers are great in South Cove because we can all get out doors and share our neighborhoods facilities, such as the three acre park, tennis courts, playground, and Lake Sammamish beach.
