Board Members Present Rod Putney, Chad Hardisty, Don Meyer, Windsor Lewis-Gloy, Randy Uyeno and Julie McDaniel
Meeting called to order at 7:15 PM by Rod Putney.
Minutes Don read the January 2006 minutes; approved as read.
Treasurer’s Report
Windsor reported an account balance of $66,649.33. (Combination of savings & checking accounts)
86% of the homeowner dues for 2005 have been collected. Windsor sent out reminders from last meeting and the percentage improved from 81% to 86%.
Windsor inquired about the protocol for handling partial payments. The Board recommended sending a thank you note with a reminder that a balance remains.
The Board voted to accept a new tax consultant whom Windsor had contacted, Don & Jieliz Quinn. Windsor will look into changing our fiscal tax reporting time so it doesn't fall during the busiest season for the firm, which is more expensive.
2006 Priorities
Rod discussed reusing last year’s polling method to solicit community feedback on 2006 priorities.
The Board approved Randy to set up the polling site using “Survey the Monkey” web site.
The biggest priority is to inform the community about the Board positions and to attempt to fill the last two vacant positions. The Board should carry nine Board members and we currently have seven.
The following priorities from last year will be included in the 2006 priority poll list:
The Board will expand on this list.
