7:10:  Discussion began, quorum not present.

Is vandalism to cul-de-sac Island over 4th of July covered by our insurance?  David Bangs to ask Mark Buick to look into it.  It was suggested that maybe at one of our homeowner meeting we should have an insurance presentation.

Budget proposal:  The board members present recommend a special assessment of $125 for two years.  If any monies left over, it would go into a reserve account to use for future projects.  Still have to get final estimates on big projects in order to present proposal to home owners.  Susi Tom to contact arborist to get opinion of stability of existing Cottonwood trees.  Susie Carney to get bid on repaving park paths, and repair of cul-de-sac/entrance Island curbing.  Kendra Mills to order infant swing for playground for $40, and to get a competing bid for replacing playground equipment.

Late Fee:  The board members present recommend a $10 a month late fee for overdue homeowner association dues.  If the dues and fees haven’t  been paid in 6 months, then we will sell the bill to collections.  We will vote on this recommendation next month.

Nominating Committee:  The board members present agree that the nominating committee should be the board  (in order to satisfy bylaw requirements).   The board will nominate individuals to fill vacating board positions and have the association vote by proxy printed on the fall newsletter prior to the November homeowners meeting.

Dog committee:  How will we enforce lack of dog control?  Kendra Mills needs volunteers to help solve the problem.  David said he would include a message on the web site and e-mail bulletin board.

Tennis courts:   We will wait until spring to power wash the courts as our playing season is almost over.

Meeting adjourned at 9:10.  Notes submitted by Susie Carney
